English 101 (5) American Sign Language 1
Speaking and listening skills in American Sign Language development at an informal conversational level; instruction occurs primarily in ASL without speech.
This course is available for EM credit.
English 102 (5) American Sign Language 2
Expands on skills learned in English 101; more complex conversations about self, others, activities; culture and politics of American Deaf Community explored.
prerequisite: English 101, EDU T&L 101, or EM or Placement exam equivalence.
