Developing language and communication skills necessary for competent interactions with native and fluent signers in a variety of settings.
prerequisite: English or EDU T&L 101 and 102 or equivalent
S & H 104 (5) American Sign Language 4
Expanding language and communication skills necessary for sharing narratives and competent interactions with native and fluent signers in a variety of settings.
prerequisite: English or EDU T&L 101 and 102 and either S&H 103 or EDU: T&L 113 or equivalent.
S & H 714* (5) Introduction to Sign Language Systems
Introductory course in manual sign language systems.
S & H 716* (5) Intermediate Sign Language Systems
Continuation course in manual sign language with an emphasis on increasing vocabulary and fluency.
S & H 718* (5) Advanced Sign Language Systems
Advanced course in manual sign language with an emphasis on achieving conversational compentency.
