Tia Jones is the Academic Program Specialist for the CLLC and American Sign Language Program. She maintains the course schedule for the programs housed under the CLLC as well as manages curricular requests, curricular proposals and general Hagerty Hall space requests. Her responsibilities for ASL include teaching courses, managing Placement Exams, Transfer Credit evaluations, and many other programmatic logistics.   

Tia has been teaching ASL at OSU since 2002. Prior to finding her passion in teaching, she interpreted in the Columbus area working for several agencies, both state and locally. Since becoming an instructor, she has developed an interest in curricular development and second language acquisition.
