Margaret Jones is a fluent ASL user with over a decade of signing experience, a background in Linguistics, and a Master’s in Interpretation and Translation. She’s taught English abroad, works professionally as an ASL interpreter, and is a member of the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID). Margaret believes the best way to learn a language is to use it—often, joyfully, and without fear of making mistakes. She is committed to helping students not only build strong signing skills but also understand the rich cultural and professional contexts of ASL.

She also collaborates with Gallaudet University and Idaho State University on the PEHI (Promoting Equity in Healthcare Interpreting) project, helping prepare interpreters for work in medical settings.
