I hail from Nigeria, West Africa. I went to deaf school and graduated. I proceeded to the University of Ilorin, Nigeria, where I bagged a B.S. in Social Studies and Special Education (concentrated in Deaf Education). Upon graduation, I worked with Christian Mission for the Deaf, Nigeria, as an Elementary school teacher and then a Secondary school teacher. I got a scholarship from my home government to enroll in the World's only Liberal Arts Institute for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Gallaudet University, where I read Deaf Education and Administration and Supervision combined.
After graduating from Gallaudet University, I relocated to Cincinnati straightforwardly and worked with St. Rita School for the Deaf briefly as a resident assistant and sub-teacher. Then, I worked with the University of Cincinnati as an ASL Lecturer, the University of Louisville, and Sinclair Community College, Dayton, respectively.
I have been involved in seasoned and distinguished presentations, especially in comparing the education of the American and African Deaf Communities and their cultures.
My hobbies are traveling, cooking, chatting, reading, and playing soccer.
