“Emily is a very talented American Sign Language instructor,” assessed Dr. Leslie Beyer-Hermsen, assistant dean at OSU Marion. “She’s very passionate about her subject matter and her enthusiasm spills over to her students. She engages them both inside and outside of the classroom, providing them with opportunities such as participating in silent picnics and signing 'The Star-Spangled Banner' at the Ohio State football game. We’re very fortunate to have Emily teaching our Ohio State Marion students.”
